Reading Glass Books returned to the Manila International Book Fair for the fourth time, setting up at Booth 2-102 at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City. The five-day event brought together readers, authors, and members of the publishing community from across the Philippines.
Established in 1979, the Manila International Book Fair is the longest-running and largest book fair in the Philippines, attracting more than 100,000 visitors each year. Its 2026 edition provided a venue for readers to discover books, meet authors, and explore a wide range of literary works.
For this year’s fair, Reading Glass Books presented a diverse selection of titles spanning multiple genres. The collection included both established works and recent releases, giving visitors at Booth 2-102 an opportunity to browse different subjects, stories, and perspectives in one place.
During the fair, the booth welcomed hundreds of visitors who browsed the collection and learned more about the books and authors represented at the event. The signing sessions also gave attendees the opportunity to meet featured writers and discover works that spoke to their interests and faith.
Dr. Michael W. Wesley, Sr. and David Pinkston drew particular interest from readers looking for faith-filled books. Their signing sessions became a hit with new readers discovering Wesley’s works, including Everybody Deserves A Good Funeral, When God Changes a Church, Unsung Hero, and So, You Want to Be Married?, as well as Pinkston’s To Open One’s Eyes and The Untold Story of Satan’s Seed.
Florence M. Coleman’s four titles, Virginia! Our Home, The Dog That Didn’t Bark at First, The Duck Dog Adventure, and My Aunt and I: According to CeCe, were featured at the fair, while Anne Shostrom Collins’ Anne’s Songs: Words from the Father’s Heart was also included in the collection. Although neither author was able to attend MIBF in person, their books were presented to visitors alongside the other featured titles, giving fairgoers an opportunity to discover their work.
Book launches were another part of Reading Glass Books’ MIBF program, with several titles drawing attention from fairgoers throughout the event. M.B. Nasdeo’s Made From Magic: An Avonridge Novel and Pharaoh’s Lightning, Lane Sturkie’s The Encounter and Thus Far The Lord Has Helped Us, and J.A. Patrina’s Subjugated: Humanity Unraveled were featured during the fair. The titles sparked curiosity among visitors, with many stopping by to learn more about the books and pick up copies.
The Reading Glass Magazine – Manila Special Issue further documented the collection presented at MIBF 2026. Featuring selected books from the fair, the publication offered readers another way to explore the titles and authors represented at the event.
Reading Glass Books’ fourth appearance at the Manila International Book Fair added another chapter to its participation in the Philippine literary scene. With its collection of books, author appearances, and launches, the 2026 event gave readers several ways to discover and engage with the works presented at Booth 2-102.
